Frost), his newly girlfriend, appears alongside a team, the most popular super-group in Boston: Global Guardians. Frost persuades Ninja to try out for the team in which he meets some of the members: Blaze, Mothgirl, Pumpkin Jack, Death-X, and Scarlett-X. Meanwhile, a kingpin by the name of Vincent Sinclair initiates a deal with a controversial biker-group: "The Devil-Drivers" and a sensual agent/assassin by the name of Kara Jones - are hired to capture The Dark Ninja as well as his girlfriend: Frost. BACK STORY: David Weiss (a.k.a. - The Dark Ninja) is a Boston, MA-based super-powered outcast who doesn't fit the mold with the duties of the everyday superhero. Prioritizing for himself and Death - the one who gave Dave his powers in the first place when he saved David at a young age after having to take his parents from him. From then on, Death kept his promise to take care of Dave, but as well as making him his personal bounty hunter, going after demons from unearthly realms across the universe. After only a year passes, David as "The Dark Ninja" makes a name for himself - infamous for his unconventional tactics in ways of dealing with crime. Along the way, Ninja meets a heroine by the name of Frost whom he later falls for when he realizes it being the same woman he had met from a metal concert he attended at the time, Rachel Winslow. The two, since then, became a super-powered couple and live together, now making a name with each other as one of the oddest but popular super-pair in Boston, MA. The Dark Ninja (c) Luke Kegley.
