Maki is a upcoming freshman who is about to attend Shirotou High School, which is known for its girl's and boy's basketball team, to play basketball. The day before school starts, she is in a sports store looking for a pair of basketball shoes when she sets her eyes on the worker at the store. He suggests a pair of shoes and mentions that he is on Shirotou's Boy's team, however, when Maki mentions she will be on the girl's team, his smile disappears and he tells her not to act familiar with him if she ever sees him at school. Just what is going on?

On the back of a motorcycle, Gun's life finally has purpose, and it's a purpose that will not be fulfilled, at least in Gun's eyes, until he's taken the checkered flag in the Korean Grand Prix.
