    i think we all misunderstanding something here, maybe Jane didn't Kill Catherine in his first life more like Catherine trying to protect Lenka to Charlie then got killed by charlie and at the same time when Lenka is about to go out he see Jane holding Catherine and he thinks that Jane killed Catherine.
