The guy was forced to marry her after she falsely accused him of r*pe... then he dotes on her and impregnates her? It was unclear if the daughter was from that "r*pe", meaning the dad is someone random, or if she came later. At the beginning of the story, she painted her dad as a victim of that woman's schemes for being forced into marrying her. I know people who lied about assault and it didn't gain them the love of the accused... Is it entirely because of the grandmother? Why does she favor a concubine's daughter over the royal princess' daughter? Is she dumb?
