Description
Imagine moving to a new town when you just hit puberty. That's a bummer since it's a military area, so fun levels are zero with curfew and armed checkpoints. Now you have to go to a new school. Which sucks, since your classmates are LITERALLY monsters. And kids with weird abilities developed in secret government labs. It'd still be OK, but your love interest is a boy. Ok, so get this: bubbling primordial soup, non-living matter is just having another day being non-living. Then BOOM! and some chemistry causes non-living matter to start a self-replicating and self-assembly party. Matter evolves into cells, which form funny little groups and first micro-organisms with cute tiny tentacles appear. Fast forward to fish, dinosaurs, and primates. Then humans, who start to ask questions "who am I and why do I live?" while wearing a Halloween costume of a tentacled micro-organism, significantly less cute. So, matter evolves into consciousness. They are just parts of a whole thing. So why do we still treat the body (made of matter) without simultaneously treating the mind (which is consciousness)?
