She has another job interview? Shouldn't she figure out how long she'll be working for the ML and if he's going to pay her? At least attempt the conservation to know where you stand. . She DID NOT just tell her friend such a huge secret in PUBLIC FFS. "I won't tell anyone please don't get kill me" the next time she sees someone immediately tells them everything in a place where it can be overheard...*sigh* why must the authors make the FL stupid? Why? Stories can progress without the leads being idiots. In fact, that kind of drama is more rewarding than idiot lead "moves" the story by being unrealistically dumb/naive. I'll give it a couple more chapters though.
