I love her. Unlike a good number of them in other transmigration stories she really does feel like she was a career woman from the modern world. So often I’m left wondering why they even included transmigration in the plot because the character doesn’t really act much different, never mentions or even thinks about modern amenities she misses, and seamlessly adapts to all kinds of crazy mental games played among the elite nobility, usually. It’s like the plot forgot the soul was originally from a modern era and it was just a plot device for starting the story. . This FL feels genuine. Her thoughts, concerns, and reasoning all make sense for a modern career woman thrown back suddenly into a feudal society where all the rights she’s used to just don’t exist yet for anyone but the powerful. . Super ironic that Mr. Survival of the Fittest has ended up like this and relying on this weak woman. I’m sure the author did that on purpose so I’ll give it a chance. Maybe he will actually redeem himself (unlike so many similar MLs who just realize they love the FL and that’s the only thing they needed to do, even if they abused and tortured the FL previously. Or there IS a redemption arc for him but it’s either too short or unfulfilling [often doesn’t feel like he did enough to earn a place next to the woman he usually made suffer] to redeem the story and characterizations.)
